I just had my Dish system upgraded to the 211 STB w/ a Dish 1000. I now have the Voom package but have yet to enjoy it. I had the install this last Monday and have'nt been able to maitain a signal over 55 at any time on any of the Voom channels. I get dropouts constantly due to weak signal. I spoke to another gentleman in the AVS forum and he said that his signal strength for the Voom channels is around 110! Why would my signal be so low? I have nothing interferring with the Dish (trees, obstructions) and I live in Midwest Wisconsin. The installer is coming back in the morning to try and get the signal up a little. He said he hopes to get it as high as 80. All I want is a steady signal.:(

Not sure..I usually run in the 80's myself. Is it cloudy out? The teech may can mess with the dish direction some and get the signal stronger. Also, you can mess with the settings and get a stronger signal.
