Hello. I'm new to HD and I'm buying a tv, in my country HD TV options are very limited. In few words I need to choose between a toshiba 30HF85 and a Sony 34DRC430. I wonder if any one can give some advice on wich is the best choice??? What conditions should I consider if my only interest is to play HD DVDs and the PS3 (since HD channels dosnt exist here should I care about this "tuner" condition?). If a tv has a hdmi port it necessarily means that the tv WILL display true HD?
Pleeease help
Thanks

If I were you i'd go with the Sony. I have heard that Toshiba's HF85's have a lot of problems.

toshiba started to outsource there crts to orion. ever since switch there has been alot of problems with the toshiba. sony allways made the best picture on crts. there a little more expensive but there also more reliable and look better. if i were to buy another crt i wouldnt look at anything but sony.
