My brother has a Philips 34PW850 TV. I have read that an optional HD tuner is available, but have not seen it anywhere. What would be a reasonable combination of set-top antenna and HDTV tuner for this set. He is in Marietta, GA a few miles north of Atlanta. He currently has Comcast cable, but not the HD channels. The picture quality is OK on some channels and poor on others. On my own sets I have both a DirecTV H20 tuner and a Sony SAT-HD200 with excellent off-the-air tuners, but I don't think I'll have any luck steering him in that direction. I don't think he will want to consider a rooftop antenna either. Is a set-top antenna and HDTV tuner for his current set doable in his location?
