Hi! I have a RCA 27inch TruFlat tv. It doesn't say it has HDTV, but i noticed it had (Y,Pb, Pr) connections and i was wondering if I can use a HDTV cable box with it. I tested the connections with my xbox 360 HD cable and I noticed a big diffrence in the picture quality, but I could only run the xbox at 480p, any higher and my tv goes blank. So can I use HDTV service with this tv?

This RCA's Info On The Tv. (http://tv.rca.com/en-US/ModelDetail.html?PC=Bedroom&MN=27F522T)

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!

This appears to be a conventional analog TV, so the component video inputs will give you a good picture from a conventional DVD player and probably from a progressive scan DVD player, but it's unlikely the set supports the higher scan rates of HD.

As long as you keep the resolution to 480i or 480p, it will display it, but you will be watching HD down-rez'ed to SD.
