yes i know this is a high def forum but i couldnt help myself LOL..yesterday(lastnite) i searched through our DVD's and i knew one of them had the THX optimizer and behold i found one..(princess dairies lol!)..well anyway i popped it in and went again with the test to calibrate my 10yr old 27" sharp SDTV. and i must say, i think its looking better then ever, i went again and started popping in DVD's left and right and they looked much better then before..i also went ahead and started popping in PS2 games and gamecube games and i was very happy... i had the color/ting/sharpness(oh dear) and abit of the brightness completely offset!. so i just wanted to share something HEHEHE.

Once I got my Avia disc I couldn't help but calibrate my two older sets (a 27" Sharp, and a 14-15" Sanyo) in addition to my HDTV. I figured, why not? :)

In both cases, particularly the Sharp, there were significant improvements. White levels on both sets were way off, and I was able to get the color/tint much better with the filters.
