is the toshiba 26hf15 hd ready

we got a toshiba 26hf15 a month ago, and we were wanted to know if it was hd ready, or not, or do we need to buy anything else?

it looks like its an HDtv Monitor. You will need to subscribe to Digital Cable with an HD package, or Satellite with an HD package. There are also external HD tuners that you could hook up to the television, and then buy a 50 dollar antenna to hook up to that, and recieve local over the air HD channels for free (but you spend a lot of money for the HD tuner and Antenna combo). on all of the websites I go to that have product information, none of them say HD ready, or HD built-in. Nothing about QAm tuners, or anything of the sort. This TV is merely an HD monitor and you need a seperate tuner. If by that you mean HD ready, then yes it is.
