My parents just purchased a Samsung HDTV recently and have it hooked up via an antenna for OTR broadcasts. They get reception but cant tune to 12.1, 12.2 and so on. I noticed on the remote there isnt a "." to push. How do you tune the set to the sub-stations for locals? Any answers are appreciated

Check to see if the remote has a hyphen (-) key. The channels can also be listed as 12-1, etc.

You should go to the site below and check which channels are the "actual" DTV channels in your area.

e.g. In L.A. area, Ch.4.1 is actually Ch.36, so if you select 36, your tv automatically allocates that channel to Ch.4.1.

I would put those sub-channels in my favorite so that I can quickly access them.
