Hi All, I entered in to the HD world having bought SHARP LD-26SH3U on a stock clearence sale in CompUSA. This has PC/TV compatiblity, tons of inputs and very good picture quality. I have this TV connected to philips DVP642 player component output and I cant explain how different the experience is. No pixelation, NO trails and the picture quality is superb. The Audio is very good since it has virtual dolby built in. Similar experience when I connected my panasonic DV953 camcorder. Even with the conventional cable (NTSC, Analog), pictures are acceptable. The picture quality with PC input via VGA is stunning. The other thing I would like to try is to get a HD upconversion player and try using the DVI/HDMI.
One thing that concerns me is, I didnt find much reviews about this model. Please share your views/comments.

Yes Sharp Does Rock. I am a big fan of Sharp LCD's. I think Samsungs look good too. I am personally in love with the Sharp AQUOS LC-65D90U this baby is 1080p. I love it, and I think it's one of the best LCD's I have seen. I have been playing the WMVHD Imax movies on it. I want to get those HD-DVD's and start trying those, but haven't got a chance too.

You have a 65" Sharp LCD and you are 25 years old! Wow! The software industry must be doing very well for you. Man! that is an absolutly huge LCD set. I see prices online in the 15Kto 20K range. Must be nice! :)
