New HD Channels already showing up

The new unihd and espn2hd HD channels are on the 129 sat. Don't know about 61.5.

The new voom channels are on the 129 sat.

No matter what new HD channels are coming..they can't go on till February 1st ! So unless you live in China and it's already February 1st there..then I don't understand how you are getting these channels.I already subscribe to Voom and so far the new added channels aren't on. :confused:

If you already subscribe to the voom package and have a mpeg 4 receiver and a dish pointed at 61.5 or 129 they are on. You don't have to call or anything. They have been on for over an hour now. Here is a link to another forum. Do you have your favorites list changed to all channels?

They turned them on 1/31 @ about 6PM EST here..

When I got home :) from work tonight I saw the new Voom channels..they're on ! And the Universal HD channel too !
Though I'm Not impressed with the shows they have on Un iversal HD..seem,s like a copy of the TNT HD channels...same shows.How stupid is that ?!!!
Also I don't understand the Game Play Channel on Voom..I don't get why they have it..it just shows a game control stick playing a video /arcade game..DUMB !!! If I had a joystick or game control stick to play games on that channel interactive ..then it would make sense to have that channel..other than that..its a waste of space where a better channel could be in HD.That channel SUCKS!!!!!

Are your locals in HD?

DN tech told me tonight I can't have my local HD activated till February1st.

so, what happens if you still have the 811?

Easy answer, as I still have 811 also.
It's not MPEG4, so no new channels for us.
