Good question, somebody help! I too would rather have my ota installed by Dish Network. Although now I am hearing an mpeg4 HD DVr will help me get all my locals minus an ota. I wonder what the advantages are to either? Perhaps going with both might have some advantage?

Depends on your particular installer. Some are more competent and versatile than others. I would still expect to pay an additional charge.
I did spot one UHF antenna near home, that had two Dish's on the same mast. Mast was fairly thick. Probably a home-brew. But maybe not. And yes, the mast was tilted.

i install for dish and one of the largest RSP in the KY-IN area. We do not install off-air antennas. It is not part of the standard install. But you can pay some guys about $100 under the table. Or less depending on the person. Or do it yourself, not that hard, takes 20mins....lol
