I've been a Dish Network member for a little over a month now, and upon signing I was assured that MPG4 was still many, many months off. Otherwise I would of waited, but like any other company looking to get money, they lied, and I somewhat knew it.
So now I'll have to pay $49.99 for a Dish 1000 that I requested at my original install, but was again assured all I'd ever need was a 500. Again, not a big problem, I don't mind paying $49.99 for a new satelite, and a VIP211.
Now I'm reading that my market (Atlanta, GA) isn't going to be recieving locals on Febuary 1st, 2006. That means no Super Bowl in HD for me, as I've tried OTA and I'm a little too far to recieve ABC, CBS, and FOX. My question to you guys on the forum that know alot (and thanks for that, I learn alot from lurking here). When will the Atlanta area get HD Locals?
