After years of being a loyal Direct TV subscriber, I'm ready to switch to Dish and go high def. I keep reading post about people ordering the new 211 receiver, but I can't find any information regarding what is so great about it. Is there someplace I can go to read the specs and become enlightened? Thanks!

ViP 211/DISH 411 HDTV Information (NOTE: the ViP 211/DISH 411 is NOT available to customers in Hawaii):

The ViP 211/DISH 411 is a full-featured satellite receiver, which allows reception of both standard definition (SD) and high definition (HD) DISH Network programming. It has a built in 8VSB Tuner for off-air digital programming. The 211/411 satellite receiver delivers local off-air analog and digital HDTV programming (where available), in addition to the standard and high definition DISH Network digital satellite programming already supported. The 211/411 receiver also supports 8PSK for additional DISH Network HDTV content. Both SD and HD outputs are active at the same time.

Here's a link to the new HD receivers on the new Dish HD website. You can look over the 211 HD receiver or 622 HD DVR Receiver.

Edit: Forgot to add that what makes these so special is that they will receive the new MPEG4 HD channels while other Dish HD receivers won't. Without a 211 or 622 you won't be able to get the new HD programming.
