Hello everyone,
Confused newbie here. I live near Detroit MI, and have a Superdish aimed at 110' 119' 121'. I have the top 180 package, and want to upgrade to the High Def channels. Everyone that I have spoken to, (DN csr's, my original installer), have gotten me so confused on what to do.
I have spoken to the DN CSR's about upgrading with the Dishing it up program, and I was told that all I would need is a new receiver (vip211), and the HD channels. I am reading your posts, and am finding out that this is not true! My original installer told me the Superdish will receive the HD channels, and all I need is the new reciever. Now everything that I have read tells me different.
My questions are: Is the superdish aimed at 110' 119' 121' sufficient to receive HD channels?
Will it work with the new receiver?
If not, what do I need to receive HD channels?
Any help will be nice.
