After reviewing some of the options for upcoming 2/1/06 or 4/1/06 promotions, I'm a little confused about waht's coming, and the anticipated costs. I currently have an 811, and 311 for 1 room only. From what I gather, I will need the 211 to get the mpeg4 and newly added HD channels? Will I need a new dish on the roof also? What will the replacment and upgrade fees be? Can the box be leased or does it have to be purchased outright.
Now, at the same time, I may be willing to have the 311 run to a second room. Would that be a $100 install fee?
Also, we may be interested in DVR. I think I am reading about a 4/1/06 upgrade promotion for the DVR. I would only want it for the high def TV, though. So, what would the upgrade costs and DVR service costs be if I wait until then. Can I lease the box?
Will Dish allow me to get NO locals since I have an antenna to get them? Or, will the 211 (or HD DVR receiver) allow the locals to come in high def.?
Maybe it's a night cap I need along with the recap!
