Ok I have a 942 reciever, dish 1000 and the standard HD and Voom package. Now I need to pull in all the local HD programming I can. I have checked the rooftop and I have nothing, no antenna, just the dish 1000. What is the easiest most affective equipment I can get. And how do I connect it myself? I don't think I want an indoor antenna, however I am open to suggestions. Hell I just wnat razor sharp HD on local channels, No matter what gear I have to get. I live in 30013 Conyers area (25 minutes from Atlanta).

This board does have a forum that can answer a lot of your questions...

Also try here to locate all the towers in your area to help line up your antenna...

just go to antennaweb.org. It will tell you how far from the local towers and what direction you need to point an antenna. You don't need a high dollar hi-def antenna. I took the uhf sections off of 2 old antennas, pointed them in the directions of locals in my area. I receive all of my locals now and the only money I have in it is the cable from my antenna to my receiver.
