Need To Get Connected

Hi everyone on this forum
i have recently purchased a hd ready tv (pioneer 43xde) and am really pissed off with the bskyb signal
i live in the uk so not sure if this is even possible but i am wondering if and how i can recieve high def tv in my area
if anyone can advise that would be cool

Currently you are unable to receive HD broadcast through Sky in the UK, they plan to launch this early next year for more info goto www.sky.com. Also you will need to buy a new receiver from sky which is rumoured going to cost anywhere between £250 - £400

thanks for the advice but is there no service from abroad that will enable me to recieve high def channels from say america or asia i have seen pubs that can recieve channels from all over the world fro say the football etc is there not something similar for high def signals
