Would it be worth it? Are there other promised features like ota and
eSata ? How does the Hopper compare to the 922?
Would appreciate any comments. Thanks

I started with the 722, upgraded to the 922, and now I have the Hopper. I liked the 922 and I like the Hopper even more. I was watching MLB Strike Zone last night and was amazed at the HD picture I have. My opinion my seemed biased but I am providing my honest opinion. We are working on a OTA for the Hopper and eSata capabilities. Thanks.

I've just switched from the 922 to Hopper/Joey and the in general the Hopper/Joey combination is dramatically better. Responsiveness is much better and I'd agree that the picture does seem better. The Hopper/Joey in many ways answers the promise of what the 922 was supposed to be -- but never was.
The OTA gap is much less of an issue for me that it was a couple of years back as all the local channels I wanted are carried by Dish and I can put my HD Antenna direct onto the TV for those occasions I want to watch something not available.
