i wonder if a future ipod video could support HD...that would be sweet.Kinda pointless for HighDef to be on a small video Ipod, but is more likely to be something along the lines of their music store... but video. e.g. buy the video for your IpodV and it plays HD on your home theatre.

the fact that it has tv out, but only 320x240 resolution is just sad...
but 320x240 isnt that bad...
ive converted a movie to see how it is and i wouldnt mind having to carry it around.

Try QuickTime Alternative (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/QuickTime_Alternative.htm) for the apple HD vids.
For Some reason every time i install Quicktime, the trailer page will not load, so i have to use QTA, and it works fine.
The 1080p vids play with about 45-65% CPU usage on my Intel 2.8 with an ATI X300 and no skipped frames.

Thats not Nero H.264 it is standard Nero MPEG4 ASP. Poor quality.

No problemo, it always worked for me. I put that link in my Opera browser Transfer window and it download easily even if its paused. :)

I'm a newbie here looking for help. As recommended above, I installed the QuickTime Alternative in order to view the apple HD vids. I'm tried to play the file: aeon_flux_h1080p.mov
and got sound, but no video.
Trying: chroniclesofnarnia-tlr3_h1080p.qt
got neither sound nor video.
Could someone please tell me what I am doing wrong?
Do I need to download an additional codec for this also?
I am running WinXP with latest version of QuickTime Alternative.
Any help will be much appreciated! Thanks
