I purchased the high def package and it includes the antenna for ota hd broadcasts. I guess if it doesnt work so well i could buy something better. The DirecTv antenna they "sell" you is nothing but a cheap bandaid of an antenna. It might work if you are located within 5-10 miles of the transmitter - and if your satellite dish is pointed at the transmitter. You will be better served if you do a little bit more research.
