AT&T Call Advantage (VoIP) and Tivo Service: Does it Work??

I am moving into a new home and am having AT&T Call Advantage Service installed on my Comcast Cable Line (internet)

I have Direct TV

---Will my SD Tivo work? It will be in my bedroom and the PC will be downstairs?

---If I purchase a HD Tivo, will that work? This would also not be in the main computer room

Please help, I am freaking out because I forgot about tivo when I ordered the VoIP service :eek: :eek: :eek:

Yes it will work. I have 2 SD Tivo's and the HD Tivo and all of them dial out with no issues. If you already have the SD Tivo setup and updated you would not need to connect it to the phone line. You just would not to be able to order PPV with the remote.

When you get the VOIP service installed just hook it into the main phone lines in the house. This will allow all the phone jacks to operate. If you do this make sure you have the Telco service line disconnected from the house. It will carry a voltage that will cause you issues.
