Hi I have some stream files .m2t files recorded from my Motorola 6412 DVR. What your favorite application to convert them to quicktimes? I'd prefer to use a Mac, but I have a fast PC to do the job too. Any ideas?
Also, the first recording I did (of an HD program stream), I accidently recorded a few minutes of a previous SD MPEG 2 stream, so in the .m2t file, there are 2 separate streams. I've used a couple conversion apps to try to split them into 2 separate quicktimes, but it always fails-either I get the first few minutes of SD material, or one huge gray screen. I can view the entire thing using VLC player, so I know it works-but can't seem to convert.
There must be some app which can deal with this effectively.
Thanks!
Brian
