Best HDTV vs NTSC comparisonhawaj 07-30-2005, 03:49 PM http://earth.jsc.nasa.gov/newsletter/ISAG_HDTV_NTSC/ Done by NASA :D Mrkazador 07-30-2005, 07:23 PM Nice comparision.....Im sure this will be used a lot to show the difference between ntsc and hdtv. Good Find! rbinck 07-30-2005, 08:23 PM Interesting that NASA uses 1920x1080 for the HDTV as opposed to the 1280x720 that the DOD uses. Guess they want the better detail. They didn't say whether they were using 1080p/30, but that would be my guess. Also the downconverts being much better is also interesting. hawaj 07-30-2005, 08:42 PM And it was done back in 1999 ;) hawaj 07-31-2005, 10:46 AM more technical details http://earth.jsc.nasa.gov/newsletter/HDTV/DEFAULT.HTM | |
