Can anyone tell me whats the best way to clean a flat panel tv screen? I have a samsung lcd right now (model# LN40A500) and the screen is a mess but obviously I don't want to damage it when cleaning it. I looked through some threads here and couldn't find anything, so any tips or links to a relevant thread would be great, thanks

I clean my screens with just warm water on a clean, lint free cloth. If the screen is really bad you might have to go over it more than twice.
Never ever use windex or some other household cleaner because not only will it take off the protective coating on the screen, but it might actually leak into the tv itself.

Ahh thanks, I wasn't too sure what would be safe for the screen

A small amount of distilled water on a microfiber cloth.

That's the ticket...and the correct way to clean any modern display screen. :)
