I purchased the Samsung PN42B450B1D earlier this summer and am quite pleased with it. There is nothing wrong with it but I was just wondering on how to get the BEST picture I can without spending any money. So in other words just manually messing around with settings that would make the picture quality better.

I use my Ps3 for Blu-Ray/movies and I also use the Ps3 for games. That is all I have hooked up to it. And I get the over the air local HD channels like ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC etc.

If you have a THX "enhanced" SD DVD disc (i.e. Toy Story and many others) us can use the simply THX Optimizer that is in the Special Features section of the menu on them to use that to help set the picture settings.
