Speaker power question

Hey guys, looks like Im going with Energy power c50 and c100s for my 5.1 setup. My question is if I use C100's for the front, and c50's for the rear/surround, will this mess with the sound? I was told that most of the power comes from the front ones, but I was not sure.

They will work great together. What receiver are you plugging these bad boys into? Does it have a calibration mic setup?

Dont have the receiver yet. Ordering an Onkyo 507 or 607 receiver.

it is really not an issue with "power", it's content. The front 3 channels in a Dolby Digital 5.1 mastered movie contain almost all the actual audio content for the movie. The surround speakers are mainly for ambient and positional audio effects, and for periods during a movie, they are not even on. That is why surround speakers are usually smaller than the front L & R and usually smaller than the center channel. They just don't work that hard for most of a movie soundtrack.

BTW. I would recommend saving an extra $90 or so and springing for the 607. Well worth it IMO.. The 607 is only $407 at amazon.:banana:
