Last resort posting here. I have a 6 month old aquos that says LC 3242U as model number. The remote was damaged and I have contacted them, googled, etc., and the closest model that's listed, is LC 32D42U. Nobody is getting back to me, and don't want to order the wrong one(Remote). Does anyone know if it's the same? Any help is appreciated.

Ironically, Sharp just got back to me. They said LC 3242U is the same as LC 32D43U

I have the Sharp Aquos LC-37D44U upstairs.. The remote model says GA667WJSA on it. The remote for the LC-32D42U model is GA535WJSA. So what does the model # say on your remote that is broken? They have D42 here for $59, but mine is only $20. Quite a difference in remotes. How much did they quote you for?

Ahh, then it appears that it is the same model as the $59 I posted. It appears the D42 and D43 are the same. How much are they asking?

If you are going to be spending $59.00 for an OEM remote it might be worth it to spend a few bucks more (Some sell at discount for under $80.00) and get a Harmony universal remote so you can control everything easily with one remote. As you add devices (BD player, surround sound, etc) it is simple and it allows you to even let your kicks control a HT system with one button touch because it is activity based.
