sonicularulus 07-28-2005, 06:39 PM you know how they had an on-board cam on the fuel tank? does anybody know if that was an HD cam or just SD. I missed the beginning of the launch by 10 minutes. does anybody know if there is a place to get it? i have already seen previous launches in HD, but i would like to see this one cuz according to NASA, they have more cameras monitoring the launch...

anthonysimilio 08-08-2005, 08:27 AM Can anyone get the HDNet download to work? It just goes to a 'you do not have permission' 403 Forbidden page for me, using IE (and I've installed the plug-in as well).
I really want to see the Space Shuttle in HD!
snoods 08-08-2005, 11:12 AM I emailed them and got rubbish from them that i had not enough hard drive space LOL
The link is clearly broken and doesn't work, it's been like this all day.
pipdipchip 08-08-2005, 11:22 AM Could someone please upload this? I need to check for problems during leftoff. ;)

Hehe
Link is NOT broken but you simply need to downlad and instal that strange IE plugin from their pages!
http://onefeed.net/hd/
or
http://onefeed.net/hd/#
or clik on link http://www.hd.net/downloads
snoods 08-08-2005, 02:05 PM The Plugin makes no difference it still doesn't download.
HDTV_NZ 08-08-2005, 03:00 PM I went to MyYahoo and it said the download will start in a few hours and that I should see an icon in my system tray.
Thanks for the link hawaj!
snoods 08-08-2005, 03:05 PM I've been waiting 8 hours. Im uninstalling the plugin shortly.
Let us know if it ever works for you. :)
HDTV_NZ 08-09-2005, 02:05 AM I managed to download the video from the direct link in the end. The plug in just doesn't work
The video is about 20 minutes long, and does show some pretty good shots of the launch. I personally feel that the videos that were available at ftp://ftp.cmf.nrl.navy.mil/pub/iHDTV/ were better, but they seem to have gone now :(
snoods 08-09-2005, 03:13 AM Glad you got there in the end. I've gave up even with the direct link i still keep getting an unavailable error, I'll keep trying now and again, you never know.
HDTV_NZ 08-09-2005, 04:36 AM BTW I used FreshDownload to download it... FD had to do 27 connection attempts before it started downloading, and then when I paused it once during the download it screwed up some of the video. :banghead:
hawaj 08-09-2005, 05:56 AM I dont understand to these obstructions when they offer it for free?
snoods 08-10-2005, 07:49 AM The link has now been fixed, it downloads fine via the direct link. :yippee:
Wilky 08-14-2005, 09:29 AM take a look at the 2 pics of the shuttle taking off, whats that in the top right of both pictures? a bird? looks too big for me, UFO maybe? Sure i heard somewhere that shuttle launches are a UFO hotspot.
Someone call mulder an scully
