Getting a Samsung LN32B360 to show on a Xbox 360

I just bought one of these TVs and its my first HDTV ever. I'm not sure how to get it to show on my TV as any other tv I've had was different and complicated for my simple mind. =(

Everythings plugged in like it should I just need to know how to get it to show on the TV =(.

Are you asking how to connect your 360 to your new LCD TV???

If so, what connection type are you using for your 360 (HDMI, component or VGA)? What is your issue exactly?

I'm using the component cables I guess, (the ones with the green blue red extra cords).

The issue is I turn the 360 on and nothing shows on my TV for it.

Roger that..

1st off, make sure your component cable is connected to the TV's component input correctly. Blue to blue, green to green and red to red. And make sure not to mix the red video and audio cables up.

2. Make sure the you select the HDTV on the swith on the 360 cable. The default is TV I think. Make sure it is clicked all the way over. If not, it can cause some issues.

3. Make sure your TV is switched to the correct input. In your case it should be component 1 or component 2 or whatever it is.

4. turn on the 360 and you should see the boot screen. If not, make sure the input is correct again and double check the connection.

5. If you see the 360 boot screen, then go into the dashboard and gointo the video settings. Make sure to select 720p and widescreed and you should be good to go.
