Replacement Remotes for 2009 Panny Plasmas?

So I think one night when we had a party at the house, someone may have stolen both of my Panny Remotes (along with my copy of Madden 10 :mad:). Don't ask why, because I honestly have no clue. I have looked everywhere and am just going to resort to buying a new one. Where can I get one? Will the old '08 Panasonic remotes work with the '09 models?

Any Panasonic remote in the last 5 years should work. They generally use the same remote codes, however, the functions and/or some of the buttons may not match exactly if you do not get a direct replacement. Looks like on bestbuy.com, a replacement remote for a PZ700 model is $32.95 +s&h. That remote would work with your current TV.

I'd call Panasonic and see what a replacement would cost. Your other option is to get a universal remote or bite the bullet and get a Logitech Harmony.

Man that sucks ass. People stealing fucking remotes now.. :banghead: When you say both Panny remotes you mean for 2 different TV's? If for another component as well you would probably be better served to get a harmony remote like 20 stated. It will control everything and a 550 can be had for around $70 anf the 880 for around $100.

If just for the TV's, here is a G10 replacement remote for $21. You didn't state your models. According to the specs, it will only work with the G10, G15 and V10 series??? If you have a different model like the S1, you may have to look up a different model.

If someone did steal them that is too bad that people you must know would do that. I second just getting a Harmony remote. They are great and my youngest son (when he was 5) could run my HT system as well as my wife & my mother too.
