TV Fool Report:
tvfool url + /?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=29&q=id%3d507cc9f0e3c4d3
Current antenna about 10 yrs. old (unknown model, sorry) and CM7777 do some fairly good work and bring in the following:
2.1, 2.2, 4.1, 5.1, 5.2, 9.1, 11.1, 11.2, 23.1, 29.1, 41.1, 41.2, 41.3, and 45.1
(all are uhf but 11 and 9)
However, kmsp 9.1 (high vhf), kstp 5.1 (uhf), cw 23.1 (uhf), and myn 29.1 (uhf) periodically drop out. The antenna is roof-mounted and there's about a 35ft run of coax to the tv in the basement.
Would it be reasonable to expect better results with a different/newer antenna/antenna combo, possibly a clearstream4 for uhf and a winegard ya-1713 for vhf (channels 11 and 9)? Or any other suggestions? The dropouts are fairly annoying and happen even during clear conditions. I know it might be difficult to give sound advice seeing as I'm unaware of the current antenna's model/specs, but I'd greatly appreciate any sort of input.
Thanks much in advance!
