Hello.

I have a Nvidia 880GTX graphics card which has a DVi output. I have connected it to my Tv a Panasonic TH42PX60B via the pc slot which is VGA. When watching movies and games the picture on the Tv isn't great and there is some fuzzyness.

It says the Tv is capable of 1080p but how do i configure it please?

Even though you are connected to a DVI output, the signal is still analog VGA. That card may not be able to match the TV signal at 1080p. There are 2 1080p signals 1080p/24 and 1080p/60. Many 1080p HDTVs will not accept both. Some HDTVs will only accept 1080p/24 like what would be available from a Blu-ray player and other HDTVs will only accept 1080p/60 like what a computer will output.

I'd try for 1280x720p first and if your software will allow it try 1080i/30. Getting the nVIDIA control panel software installed may allow better configuration options.

I have set the settings to 1280x720p. The desktop is fine but when i play games on the HDTv it runs really fast like its fast forwarding?

please advise. Also I cant see the setting for 1080i/3

My graphics card is Nvidia880GtTX and says "Two dual-link DVI outputs for digital flat panel display resolutions up to 2560x1600"

Please advise
