I recently purchased the Samsung HD Series 750 "Touch of Color" 40 LCD TV.
I am on the Cox cable system using the Motorola DCH 3416 DVR.
There is a compatibility issue whereas if the TV IS on it may/does intercept the signal from the DVR remote.
If backlighting is turned to 0 then the remote works fine.
Presently I have to turn the DVR on and select "Guide" then turn the TV on for everything to work correctly.
If I turn the TV on first the DVR remote doesn't work unless I get within an inch or so.
A local Samsung service provider told me about this issue after I had replace 3 DVR's thinking they were defective.
Anybody know of a solution?
