Hi!

When outputting sound from HDMI to my TV i get a quite loud buzzing noise with every player i use at 0% volume. Higher than 0% volume the buzzing stops. This only occurs on Windows 7...i have no such problems with WinXP. At first i thought this was ATI driver related, but when reinstalled Windows 7 yesterday without any ATI drivers installed (only windows 7 default sound drivers) the problem persists. Muting players and the buzzing stops. There seem to be a problem with Windows 7 itself when it is outputting sound through HDMI. Could somebody confirm this and does it exist some fix for it?

Intel Q6600 CPU
ATI Radeon HD3870
Asus P5E6 motherboard

Should say this buzzing noise is hearable from 75 up to 100 % volume level on my TV. Like to have it that high cuz windows sucks as an amplifier.
Installed the latest Realtek HDMI driver today which didnt make any difference.
Maybe i can solve this by tweaking the windows 7 volumemixer somhow...lowering the volume output level to same as mute levels. is this possible?
