Speaker cable question?

so is it recommended to use the same brand cable for all your speakers?

If your using wall plates should you be using the same brand wire you used within the walls?

And does quality really matter?

I thought I would add this is for in wall installations.

You should use wire that is rated for in wall installation.

Brand is up to personal choice, but use a good quality large gauge wire, 12 gauge wire is normally good depending on your system and wire lengths.

Don't worry about matching brands for the wire and wall plates, but using the same wire all around is nice.

As for wire brand it doesn't really matter as long as the gauge is correct. I have included a wire gauge vs. length chart for you so you can select the correct size.
