Panasonic Handycam DVD problem

I have a panasonic handycam , I recorded some video onto the Mini DVD disc provided for recoding. When I insert the same Mini DVD Disk into my computer it show ( No Disc) . I want to know what is the problem. How can I view the recorded movie in the computer.

without specifics, such as the camera model, it be difficult to help you. A lot of camcorders with an internal Mini-dvd drive require that the disc be finalized before you can view it on a dvd player, or in this case, your computer. Check your manual and see what it says about finalizing the disc.

Also ,search the net for a program that finalizes cds and dvds,and lastly,if it's a Panasonic ,it's probably not a Handycam.

Update: If you have DVD Decrypter ,you can close the disc in the following fashiion
Tools -> Drive -> Close (Track / Session / Disc).
