I have a onkyo 506 receiver, now neither of my components have the newer built in decoders"tru hd, dts etc..." should I set my bluray player to pcm or bitstream? will one sound better than the other? thanks in advance BIslander 10-04-2009, 08:49 AM As I recall, the 506 is an HDMI pass through AVR and uses an optical connection for audio.
