Sorry, I realized that I posted this question in the wrong forum.

:hi Hello HDFers.

My wife and kids would like to have the option of listening to their iPod while playing on our Nintendo Wii. We are currently unpluging the Wii's audio cable from reciever and pluging in the iPod audio cable each time we want to listen to the iPod while playing the Wii, but this is a hastle. I'm hoping there's an option that would allow me to kill the Wii's audio while playing the iPod's audio (from a different source).

I have a Yamaha RX-V765 receiver and have read through the manual, but can't figure out how to accomplish this task. I have to imagine that my family isn't the only group who would like to do this. Can anyone guide me in the right direction?

I'm sorry if this has been answered in another post.

Look at page 48 of your manual where it says "Outputting a video signal input from another input source during reproducing a multi-channel audio signal"

So basically, you turn it to the iPod output and then change it so you can see the video from your Wii.

Step by step instructions are in the manual.
