If you're only going to be doing a few connectors, spend your money on the twist on type;
something like these: http://www.summitsource.com/philips-rg6-ftype-twiston-connector-gold-plated-12-lot-pack-ph61028-digital-video-signal-component-coaxial-cable-tool-less-plug-rg6-connectors-part-ph61028-p-8797.html

Seems like good idea. I would like to get others opinions on this type of connector

I have found them to come off the ends of the cable or work their way loose. Just my experience...

You may consider the Ripley Universal Compression Tool (http://www.pldepot.com/p-82-ripley-ultraseal-compression-tool.aspx). It is a moderately priced tool that will last a lifetime and works with numerous styles of RG6 Compression Connectors, such as Digicon (http://www.pldepot.com/p-96-digicon-ds6-rg6-f-connectors-bag-of-100.aspx) and Gilbert. Hope this helps...

I think I will try twist on-it will only require about 4 connectors in my attic-I dont want to spend $50 if I dont have to.
