How to display signal strength on Sony Bravia

I'm almost ashamed to post this question. I tried everything I could think of on the remote control and even read the instruction manual for this new set I bought - yes, I was that desperate! I can't figure out how to display the signal strength of the DTV channel I'm watching. I even Googled and found reviews of the set KDL-32L5000 proclaiming what a nice signal strength feature it has so it would appear it does it. Any ideas??

FWIW, the set works very well and picks up everything my larger LG does. I just want to know how close to the edge I am on long coax run from antenna.

I have three Sony's and the routine is the same on all.

Power up and tune into a digital channel.

Press the menu button.

Use the 4 way toggle button and toggle down to "diagnostics" then toggle right to "show" and this should display signal strength for the channel you are viewing. Change channels then press menu and this might show the signal strength as a short cut.

Ah, for petes sake is that what that's for? :) I never did select it. I'll give it a shot when I get home. Thanks.

Get familiar with the menu selections from the remote as one other function you may want is to de-select channels if you wish to bypass them. The menu will show them as "SHOWN", if you toggle onto the channel you can change to "HIDDEN".
