Loss of Dish Signal issue?

Ok, is there a way to change the channel on the 942 when the dish signal is lost, i.e. to an OTA channel?

If the dish signal is lost, i.e. during a big storm, I am unable to change the channel to an OTA channel on my receiver, as the receiver is stuck on the "No Signal - please wait" screen.

How can I bypass the wait screen and force it to tune in an OTA channel?

Does anyone else have this problem?

Hook your antenna up to the TV, then all you have to do, is power down the dish box.
(Unless your TV doesnt have a Tuner built in) if so.
NEVERMIND!

Yes I could swap the antennae feed to my TV, but my TV does not have built in HD tuner, and this would require me to dig behind my cabinet, which is not an easy task in my case as I'm to lazy...

I really wanted to know if there is a trick to change channels when there is no Satelite Signal, and the "Wait for Signal" screen is going while the 942 will not respond to pressing Guide, Chan UP/Down, or punching #s?
