Hi,
I've got a PS3, DVR, and Blu-Ray Player all hooked-up to a Sony Bravia Home Theater System, via HDMI. Then I have and HDMI going out from the HT to the TV.
I've always been kind of wary of using switchers because I've been paranoid that they might degrade the visual signal a bit.
Is this an unfounded worry with HDMI? Does anyone have any reason to expect that my visual clarity might be somehow degraded by feeding the HDMI signal through the HT? Would it be better for the picture to have these components directly fed to the TV?
If so, there is another set up I can try - the TV has 4 HDMI inputs, so I could directly hook everything up to the TV and then run an optical cable from the TV to the HT?
Any opinions on what is best?
Thanks.
