No. Just use the link hatt left for you, and save to usb, then pop it in the usb connection. Cheapest, fastest and easiest way if you do not want to connect it to the internet. Keep in mind, you can use Wi-Fi. You don't have to hardwire it. Updates generally only come out about once a month at most. And I think I'm probably overestimating about that.
