For only $599 with a 60 day "if you don't like 'em send 'em back guarantee." You also get a 100% trade-in allowance if you buy another larger pair within one year. What a deal!

"In preparation for this review, I listened to a number of speakers in the price range. (And remember, with ordinary box speakers you have to figure another one or two hundred dollars for stands. The MMG's are , of course, floor standing and thus require no stinking stands.) I have yet to hear any other competitive speakers that sound as real, or as natural as the mini-Mags." Bob O'Neill

"It is important to understand what MMGs are. No box, no boxiness. Full-wave mid-bass punch like no box speaker. And never any sibilance from vocals. NEVER. " And add to that, crystal clear, airy, transient highs.

"The simple fact is these speakers provide a window into my music tastes that cannot be duplicated by any other available speaker any where near this price. This is High End audio without the high end price tag."

Enough with the praise (deservedly so). If you haven't heard these, you should as familiar music will be new and you will hear things you never heard before. Check these bad boys out...

Wow only 1.25" thick. Hard to believe you can get that kind of sound out of something so thin. $600 per pair is not a bad price either, considering how good you say they sound.

Truly amazing. You must hear them to believe it then once you do you will never want to listen to box speakers again...

And you won't have them much longer after auditioning the Maggies...L2, what do you think about them in a 60 to 70 % Home Theater set-up, would you just skip the center and what kind of surrounds would be ample additions to this set-up?
Thanks sawz...

Thanks sawz...

They also make a center speaker that I would highly recommend. As for the surrounds, any decent speaker would do, especially one with a ribbon tweeter and make sure whatever surrounds you do choose that they are 4 Ohms.

On their center channel speakers, they recommend a bass management system... is that just terminology for a subwoofer? I noticed that their MMGs go down to 50hz.

I need to start saving my $$. A couple MMG on both sides of my screen plus their center would probably be awesome. I assume my Denon would handle 4 ohms just fine.

As Sawz asked, I wouldn't know which surrounds to use though.
