Heya Guys,

So I ordered my video portion of my AV setup (Panasonic 42" G15 and Panasonic Blue-Ray player) but now I am not quite sure how to approach audio...

I have read a lot of good things about the Onkyo sr607 receiver and seems like the best bang for your buck for a receiver and wanting to keep my sound setup at or below $1000. Now my main question is what speaker setup would pair well with it? I was originally thinking of the Klipsch HD Theater 500 speakers but in one of my other posts someone told me that they don't pair all to well with the sr607.

I can get the Onkyo sr607 bundled witht he Klipsch HD Theater 500's for $864 (free shipping) and they will throw in a pair of Polk Audio TSi100 Loudspeaker Cherry Pair with it also. I have no use for the polk speakers really unless you guys have some ideas.

Any thoughts or advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Here's how I got my audio setup for less than $650 except that I have a 606 (paid $319 for mine) instead of a 607 which will make it around $700 or so for you:

Onkyo TX-SR607 $406: http://www.amazon.com/Onkyo-TX-SR607-7-2-Channel-Surround-Receiver/dp/B001VEI2KO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1252730480&sr=8-1

Onkyo SKS-HT540 $294: http://www.amazon.com/Onkyo-SKS-HT540-Channel-Theater-Speaker/dp/B000GU78Z4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1252730629&sr=8-1

This is the easiest and most efficient way in my opinion to get a 7 channel system for well under $1000.

And it sounds pretty darn good too. But I would go with some KEF speakers like the ones here - http://www.accessories4less.com/make-a-store/item/KEFKHT10052GB/KEF/KHT1005.2-5.1-Sattelite-Subwoofer-Speaker-Package-GLOSS-BLACK-/1.html
