ok so I've got a Sony Bravia 60 inch DLP HDTV 1080p... the works... looks great when i use the VGA input, but the problem is this tv will only allow up to 720p via VGA. Ok, so i went out and bought a DVI to HDMI converter and hooked it up through the HDMI input. It gets the 1080p res just fine.. but the colors on my desktop look over saturated and some letters are a bit hard to read. Video looks amazing though, could be a touch better, but I'm pretty sure its got something to do with whatever is going on with this color. I've tried messing with the tv's color settings and the video cards... I've had a couple people say that the tv and the pc's color settings are conflicting and thats the problem, but i can not seem to find some sort of middle ground. I've look on the net and seen that a lot of people have this problem but i cant seem to find a solution. I've tried different video cards, different cables, different dvi to hdmi adapter and even tried it on a different tv. but still no difference. I have a Gefore 9500gt pci express dual Dvi video card, quadcore, 3 gigs of ram and 2TB's of HD space, so i know that it isnt my pc, and the tv works just find on cable and VGA as previously mentioned. If anyone has any ideas or anything for that matter, It would be GREATLY appreciated if you would share them. Thanks for even reading this guardless...

if anyone else has this issue, i totally just fixed it myself... had to go into the tv's menu and change it over to game / text mode... now it works fine.

sooo i figured out the issue, i had on the true motion technology from sony... while on video looks outstanding, but when you turn it off the video just looks like a normal tv lol. but the desktop area looks great.. so i have to switch back and forth to accomplish what i want. :( sadly.

True Motion actually adds artifacts and degrades the quality of the picture...It is better to keep it turned off.
