NBA: who is #1 in the east this year?SkullWithHair 09-02-2009, 01:50 AM although i am a biased fan, i am going to have to say orlando. shaq is gonna screw up cleveland's system for sure and boston is just getting up there in age. what do you guys think? travis74 09-02-2009, 10:40 AM Boston... IF Sheed fits the mold... and IF Garnett doesn't get injured... so, maybe Orlando. gwhoughton 09-03-2009, 08:47 AM Lakers. Oh wait, that's not till after the finals... My bad. :hithere: ;) rbinck 09-03-2009, 09:58 AM Well, I expect Cleveland. I think Shaq will understand who is the man on that team. I could, of course, be wrong. Bigloww 09-03-2009, 10:03 AM Da Bears! BiggNewt 09-11-2009, 12:48 PM Does it matter? Whoever wants to lose to the Lakers will be #1. drbrosco 09-11-2009, 01:09 PM The Memphis Grizzlies are gonna win it all!!! Led by their 2nd year star OJ Mayo & his new sidekick Allen Iverson, you can mark it down!!!!!!!!!!!!! bruceames 09-15-2009, 11:29 PM I'll say Boston, as I've always thought that Cleveland played over their heads the whole year until it finally caught up to them in the playoffs and Boston IS the best Eastern team with Garnett in the lineup. Shaq and Rasheed Wallace are both well past their prime and will make minimal to modest impact to their respective new teams. However Shaq does have more potential to contribute an Iversonish impact, so as a result I think Boston has made more offseason improvement. | |
