I know his carrer is about finished, he runs the 40 in about 2 days and he can't even play 1st base anymore... But his 550 ft home runs will be missed. He still strikes out a bunch but still has some pretty good power numbers and a good OBP ( a ton of walks). He still is good in the clutch and always a smiling face in the dugout and a fun post game interview. An ironic thing is that I was on my way down to Peoria (Jim's home town) when I heard the news this morning.. :crying:
He is gonna make a nice bench warmer the rest of the season in sunny So. Cal. A few pinch hits here and there. But they got him for DH if/when they make it to the Series.. That is some good wishful thinking there. ;)Would of loved to see him hit #600 in a Sox uni.. It may still happen. But it was great to see Kenny trade him to a real WS contender and wish he can finaly get that ring.. I am officially a Dodger's fan for the rest of this year.. The only time I ever was in the past is when they play the Cubs..:D
