Can I use Belden 1189A Broadband CaTV RG6 cable for coaxial sound

I am new to the forum and this is my first post. I have an existing 85 foot installed unused loop of Belden 1189A Broadband CaTV RG6 cable that runs from my main floor Sony flat panel, Sat HDTV receiver and BlueRay player are located in Liv Rm to a Yamaha 5.1 amp upstairs in my master suite where all a/v equip is housed. Can I use this Belden 1189A cable for a coaxial sound from the blueray to the amp. Any information would help. Thanks Glassmavin

Yes but it would require attaching RCA plugs on the ends (adapters are available).
