Another tip, find their physical addresses through the company info link and go to the Better Business Bureau to see how many complaints they've had against them and whether or not they work with the BBB on any claims.
I've recently filed a claim against Buy.com and most of the complaints are very similar to mine. Also, if they are Bizrate rated, look at the percentage of negative and neutral complaints and pretty much ignore the green smiley face. I think 2% or less negative would be a reasonable expectation. Resellerratings.com is also a good resource.
