Best Method to connect HDMI device to DVI HDTV

I have a Sony KV-40XBR800 40" FD TrinitronŽ WEGAŽ XBRŽ Hi-ScanŽ TV (2005). It accepts 480i/480p/1080i
Inputs and Outputs
Composite Input : 2 Front/3 Rear
DVI-HDTV Output : 1 Rear
Monitor Output : 1 Rear
RF Input : 2 Rear
S-Video Input : 1 Front/2 Rear satellite receiver has a DVI output
Currently, my DishNetwork satellite receiver connects from DVI to DVI.
I want to purchase a HD DVD player as well as upgrade my satellite receiver to HD. all will have a HDMI connector.
What is the best way to connect these HDMI connectors to my TV (no HDMI)? Looking for best quality connection. Am I out of luck?
BElkin makes a HDMI to DVI cable with special box that optimizes the signal (bought it)
